Stargaze from the middle of the Atlantic; view a show in the world’s only floating planetarium.
Set sail aboard the Queen Mary 2. Cunard offers a World Space Week cruise each year, and you can join with fellow space enthusiasts and Space Tourism Guide community members in 2019!
STG founder Valerie and her partner will be on the World Space Week cruise departing Southampton, England on September 26, 2019. Any community members are welcome to join with their families for this luxurious eight-night cruise, which ends in New York City.
These are “community trips” rather than our standard guided trip offering. The price for this trip will be the cost per person based on the Cunard stateroom level of your choosing.
Aboard the Queen Mary 2, you can enjoy a variety of space-themed activities in honor of World Space Week. Speakers for the 2019 cruise have not yet been announced, but there are always several who give compelling lectures on space and human space exploration. You can enjoy shows in the onboard planetarium, created in partnership with the Royal Astronomical Society.
The cruise ends in New York City at the start of World Space Week! You can also choose to extend your trip to enjoy the events happening in the city.
Staterooms start from $1,309 per person: learn more on the Cunard website. If you are interested in connecting with fellow Space Tourism Guide community members in advance of the trip, click here to email Valerie and join the private chat.
